Francis Russell Trophy

The Francis Russell Trophy is an annual match between Lancaster University Boat Club and Lancaster John O' Gaunt Rowing Club.

Record of recent victors

****		Same format as 2010 but with 3 crews from both clubs.
***		A new format for the event was used in 2010 - both clubs submitted two crews into the 2010 Red Rose Sprint event - the combined placings of the crews were compared to give a winner.
**		Traditionally the Francis Russell event was competed for at Lancaster Regatta as a challenge match - LUBC did not submit any crews in the 2008 event.
*		LUBC concentrates on the larger boat types; in order to provide opposition JOG often has to supplement its crews with boys from LRGSBC. In 2005 LRGSBC boated an all LRGSBC crew.
